Do I need to buy MW3?
Plutonium requires a legitimate Modern Warfare 3 installation. Plutonium does not distribute game files and neither do we.
Is this free?
Yes. Every server is free to play on. VIP exists to help cover hosting and gives cosmetics plus a reserved slot — nothing that affects gameplay.
What regions do you run?
North America — dedicated hardware in Montréal, routing to the US East coast, so US players see the same pings they would from a New York or Chicago host. European players are welcome and do play here, but expect a transatlantic ping; we'd rather say so than surprise you.
Does Plutonium support Spec Ops Survival?
Not officially — the Plutonium IW5 client targets multiplayer, and the team has said Survival isn't planned. It works here because we run a community server-side recreation of it, so you can play Survival online without owning anything extra.
Are the servers modded?
Mostly no. GRN is vanilla-focused. Anything with modified gameplay is clearly labelled in the server name.

How are stats tracked?
The site polls every server directly for live activity, and match statistics come from the server-side stats plugin. Boards update continuously.
Why isn't my name on the leaderboard?
Ratio boards require at least 60 minutes of playtime so short sessions don't distort the top. Kill and score boards have no minimum.
I changed my name and lost my stats.
Stats key off your in-game name. A name change item in the shop merges the old profile into the new name.
What counts as a Survival record?
The highest wave you reached before the run ended, per map. Solo and duo are ranked separately.

How do I report a cheater?
Open a ticket in Discord with the player's name, the server and roughly what time. A demo helps but isn't required.
How do I appeal a ban?
Discord ticket. The admin who issued it reviews the appeal, and permanent bans need a second admin to sign off.
Do you use anti-cheat?
Yes, plus human admins. Automated detection catches the obvious cases; the rest is reports and demo review.

Why does a server say “sample data”?
That server isn't answering UDP queries right now, so the site shows generated activity rather than an empty row. It's labelled wherever it appears.
