Privacy policy

When you connect to a GRN game server, the server records:

• Your in-game name and any previous names used on our servers.
• Your game client GUID — a per-installation identifier used to apply bans and link stats.
• Your IP address, held only for moderation and ban enforcement.
• Match statistics: kills, deaths, score, weapons used, maps played and time connected.
• Text chat sent on our servers, for moderation.

We do not collect your Activision, Steam or Plutonium credentials, and no member of staff will ever ask for them.

This website has no advertising, no third-party analytics and no tracking cookies. Nothing about you leaves our servers.

Statistics exist so the leaderboards work. Chat logs and IP addresses exist so that cheating and abuse can be investigated and bans can be enforced. There is no other use.

Player statistics are kept indefinitely so historical leaderboards stay accurate. Chat logs are kept for 90 days. IP addresses are kept for 12 months, or for the duration of an active ban if that is longer.

Statistics, player names and the ban list are public — that is the point of a leaderboard site. IP addresses and chat logs are visible only to the admin team.

We do not sell, rent or share data with third parties. We will comply with a valid legal request if one is ever made.

You can request a copy of everything we hold on you, or ask for it to be deleted, by opening a ticket in the GRN Discord. Deletion removes your statistics, profile and chat logs.

Ban records are retained after a deletion request, because otherwise a ban could be erased by asking. This is the one exception.

GRN servers are not intended for anyone under 13. If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13, the data is deleted.

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect, it will be announced in Discord and noted on the changelog.
