Staff applications

GRN is run by players. If you're on the servers most weeks and you're the person already telling people to knock it off, we want to talk to you.

Requirements

  • Age 16+

    We need people who can handle a heated lobby calmly.

  • 50+ hours on GRN

    You should already know the regulars and the servers.

  • Active in Discord

    Most moderation coordination happens there, not in-game.

  • Clean record

    No active bans or recent warnings on the network.

  • Reasonable availability

    A few hours a week, spread out — not a second job.

  • English

    It's the shared language of the admin team. Others welcome on top.

What the job actually is

  • Respond to in-game reports and Discord tickets
  • Review demos and act on cheat reports
  • Issue and document bans with a clear reason
  • Keep chat within the rules without being heavy-handed
  • Flag server issues to the technical team

It is unpaid, occasionally thankless, and mostly consists of telling people to stop being rude. The upside is you shape what the servers feel like to play on.

How to apply

One step

Applications are handled in Discord — open a ticket in #staff-applications and include your in-game name, your timezone, roughly when you play, and why you want it. Keep it short; we'll ask follow-ups.
